The Dearborn County Girls Softball League has been around for nearly 40 years. When the league first started, it was only a slow pitch league. With the explosion of fast pitch softball, DCGS decided to introduce fast pitch in 2004. However, in doing so, the first year was a little rough. DCGS consisted of 6 teams and had no idea what we were doing. Over the next couple of years, the league continued to grow and we learned about the game of fast pitch.  In 2023, we had 14 teams in 4 different age groups. Our league now has 3 home fields and travels to play with other leagues in Ohio. The league not only has it`s own league tournament, but also has teams that travel to other tournaments.  In 2025, we will be playing a couple Saturday's and will also travel to Harrison, OH, White Oak, OH, or Millville, OH.
